How to generate subtraction worksheets

1. set the minimum and maximum values of each of the two operands.

2. for elementary school kids, they only need to deal with subtraction with no negative answers. So it is recommended to check the first two options: Operands in descending order and No negative answers

3. Check With header and With answers if you want a sheet with name, date and the answers.

Kindergarten (Ages 4-6)

Students begin to understand and learn basic concepts of subtraction from 4 years old. While they are in kindergarten (ages 5-6), they can start working with simple subtraction problems, usually within 10.

1st Grade (Ages 6-7)

Students of first grade can start to do subtraction with numbers up to 20.

2nd Grade (Ages 7-8)

Students must be able to solve subtraction problems within 20, and should begin to deal with subtraction problems within 100.

3rd grade and above
